Green Squash will soon have a new name. When I started this blog, just a mere 2 weeks ago, I never thought anyone would see it. If they did, I certainly didn’t think they would take any time to actually read it. The name was simply based on a minor anecdote between husband and wife.
600 unique readers later and the pressure is on. What?! I don’t even know 600 people. It’s amazing and awesome how fast information spreads via the internet. Yea, we need to step this up a notch.
Trying to brainstorm name ideas is driving me bonkers. Just when you think you have a great idea, you don’t. Either ten other people already have that name, or your husband hates it, or godaddy.com is charging $1200 for it. Here are what seem to be the top 4 contenders:

I spent forever trying to come up with a name. I have been at this blogging thing for about two weeks, but haven’t quite gotten my numbers where yours are. Any recommendations for getting your name out there?
Hi Brianne! Are you on Foodbuzz? If not, go to foodbuzz.com and set up an account. Play around with it. The more you play, the more the website will “promote” you. Also, try pinning your photos to Pinterest. That’s really all I’ve done. Good luck!
I am on Foodbuzz, but haven’t played around too much. I’ve been focusing on Facebook to start. But I will check it out some more. I do post on Pinterest, too. Thanks for the tips!

I don’t know… I don’t think they all stink, in fact they all sound good but I like “Greensquash” because you say your a quasi-vegetarian…your family isn’t so veggie oriented…I like the sound of Greensquash. It’s simple and easy to remember and Green is In
It’s funny you say that because I initially named it that after I sent my husband to the store for zucchini. He called and said they didn’t have any, they only had “green squash”.

OK, coming from a person who named her blog ‘No Ideas’ because I walked along the same path as you, I kept it. It’s original and describes me…not giving myself enough credit for having some creativity. Green Squash is unique & great.
